Missy was totally grossed out when I was telling her about it. She thinks it's disgusting to have bathroom rules posted on the wall and even more disgusting to have the word 'flush' hanging anywhere in your house. What do YOU think??

Bathroom signs...what do you think??
So, Missy and I were talking about projects that we would like to do and I mentioned that I had seen a cute idea on a blog that we follow (now, I cannot find the post) but I didn't link it on ours because I wasn't sure if it it is really something I want to do. The idea?? A bathroom sign that reads "Wash, Flush, Floss, and Brush". It was painted really cute and the more that I've thought about it, I've decided that it would look really cute in my kids' bathroom. Similar idea to this one, but WAY cuter

Well, the washing your hands and brushing your teeth aren't too horrible. But, flushing can be a little disgusting. However, if it is in your boys' bathroom where visitors don't tend to go, then it isn't too bad.
Kinda with Missy but it's you r house !! I know people come into my house and have a "what is THAT ???!" but the point is it's my house !!!
I think it's cute!
I don't think "flush" is rude. Believe me NOT flushing is way ruder!!!
And it's not like you're posting "If you sprinkle when you tinkle be a sweetie and wipe the seatie." That might be going overboard! lol...
I always have thought signs like that were weird when I saw them in peoples' bathrooms. I think it's weird humor---but then again I'm not one for bathroom humor.
I just wanted to let you know you won the Chocololic headband giveaway at www.everydaymomideas.com Email me with in 24 hours to claim your prize. Congrats!
In my defense, it wasn't just the word "flush" by itself that grossed me out... it was the fact that the words "brush" and "floss" are used in the same breath. ew.
Not as gross as the word "wipe" - I'm laughing out loud that I just typed that - but it's what that makes me think of.
Really, if you're old enough to read the word "flush," you'd better be old enough to remember to do it without a reminder.
And if we're going for humor, I like "lather, rinse, repeat" - ha ha... not above the toilet, though... ha ha.

Kimi, with all those boys, I think you need a sign that says:
"We aim to please.
You aim too, please."
