Frayed Burpcloth

I love homemade baby gifts- I wish I was better at giving them.  I would love to stock up on some flannel so I could have some of these Frayed Burpcloths on hand.  Thanks to the Sugar Bee for great tutorial, and I love how she embroiders the name- so cute.

Strawberry Applique

I love finding cute new blogs to follow;  Little Page Turners does not disappoint. She has great ideas, geared for younger children, and I LOVE that she features childrens' books to go with her activities.  The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry, and The Big Hungry Bear is one of our favorite books around here- if you haven't read it, you should.  Well, on to the tutorial... Christianne makes a darling Strawberry appliqued shirt and she even gives us the pattern.  Very cute and so summery- love it.

P.S.  if you need help appliqueing- check here

Library Bag

Am I the only one in love with owls?  Not the real ones, of course - they're kind of creepy.  But I absolutely love applique owls, owl fabrics, and owl decor.  This Library Bag has the cutest owl on it!!  I was so excited to see this tutorial from Lulu's Tiles.  She even thought to include a vinyl pocket on the back to keep the library receipt in - perfect for those of us who can't remember when to take the books back!

Anyone else loving this project idea?  Really, is anyone out there?  I'm serious.  I'd love to hear your comments!!
