Product Review & Giveaway- Kleen Slate

A little over a week ago I got a big brown box delivered to my front door.  This is what was inside:

I was SO excited!!  Not only was this to be our first product review- but what a fun product to try.  These dry erase markers from Kleen Slate Concepts have an eraser right on the lid.  When I was a school teacher, the pinky side of my hand was always black from erasing the board with my hand- an eraser on the back of the marker? Brilliant.
Now, I was already sold on the markers, but then I gave the Kleen Slate Paddles a try.  These are fantastic!   My first experience with the paddles: a 20 minute car ride, 3 year old and 4 year old with paddles and marker in hand.  For 20 minutes my boys drew pictures and wrote their names.  The markers worked the whole time, never fading or drying out.  The boys can easily slide their markers in and out of the paddles themselves.  We kept a couple of the paddles in the car all week and the boys have loved them.
Another experience with the paddles: a 70 minute church meeting.  I let the boys bring the paddles, and the package of colored markers, to church and they were a hit.  My boys loved using them and passing them between the benches with their friends.  All of the kids loved them!

Go HERE to learn more about Kleen Slate Concepts and its founder, Julia Rhodes (who is a former teacher).  Julia also has a blog with the inside scoop on being an inventor.

Would you like a couple of Kleen Slate Paddles for yourself?  You can order the product from their website, you can purchase the product at Office Depot or Staples, or you can win 2 Kleen Slate Paddles with markers right here!

There are THREE ways to enter the Kleen Slate Paddle giveaway:
#1- Leave a comment letting us know what you would like to see more of on our blog- cooking, sewing, or crafting
#2- Be a follower of our blog and leave a comment letting us know
#3- Blog about something you made or would like to make from something you saw on 'if I could...' (leave a comment letting us know so we can check it out)

Giveaway closes in one week.  The winner will be announced Monday, May 3rd.  Good Luck!

I follow you guys in Google Reader and love your ideas. I think I would like to see more crafting ideas, because I don't cook and don't have a sewing machine. Of course, reading posts on cooking and sewing may motivate me to change that....

Please post more cooking posts. I need ideas, esp crock pot ones ;)

I think your "mix" of topics is perfect. Don't change a thing. I love it all and you are doing a great job! I check you every day!

So, I have a list of things you've featured that I am going to try out. Seriously. Which is GREAT! I love projects! I think I'm going to do the refills for the soap dispensers. I know...easy peasy, BUT I was almost going to go back to Bath and Body to get some more. Now I can just use 1 of the 10 (seriously) bath gels that the sweet hubby got me for Christmas! (Bless his heart...) Thanks for the great idea. And for helping me save some money to something else!!!
