Religious Easter Printable *free download*
I wanted to subtly (or maybe not-so-subtly) remind my kids why we celebrate Easter. So I decided to create a printable that simply reminds us that He is risen. His resurrection is why we truly celebrate. Hopefully displaying this sweet reminder will help us all stayed focused on the meaning of Easter. Click HERE to download - enjoy! Happy Easter!
I'm printing green - what color are you printing?

Our First Giveaway & Egg Decorating
We are SO excited to announce our first giveaway. It will be taking place next Monday, April 5th- be sure to check back in next Monday... you won't be disappointed!
P.S. All followers will automatically be entered once...
Also, we're dying our Easter Eggs tonight, so I thought I'd share two of the techniques we'll be trying out tonight courtesy of Martha Stewart. There's the Leaf & Flower Easter Eggs (flowers might be a little too girly to use at our house, but I figure the concept can be used with any manly shape) and also the Marbleized egg (very cool, plus we might be able to throw in a little science lesson).
Happy Easter!

Burlap Egg Pillow
Anyone else want to make a quick last-minute Easter decoration? Maybe you should try this no-sew
Burlap Easter Egg Pillow from A Little Tipsy. I think this is just too cute (and unique!). The ribbons and burlap really complement each other, don't you think?

Egg Love Notes
Have you ever checked out Love, Actually? It has way cute ideas to show some love. I thought this idea for Egg Love Notes was easy, quick and cute. Using stamps or a sharpie would definitely be fastest, but I do love the notes around the hard-boiled eggs- what a great way to add a love note to your colored easter eggs. You should also check out her April Fools Ideas... definitely got to try the pancake one.

Grow Your Own Wheatgrass
Wheatgrass is known for its nutritional benefits, but I'm not sure I would eat it... or pulverize it and drink it. But I sure want to grow some - I'm in the mood for spring! Click HERE for instructions on how to grow your own (thanks Make and Takes). Good news is it only takes about 7 days to grow until it looks like this picture, so I'm not too late for some real Easter grass!
Your turn to vote: Are you going to grow wheatgrass to eat or just to decorate?

"Tie-Dyed" Easter Eggs
These beautiful eggs are not tie-dyed in the traditional sense - they are actually dyed from men's silk ties. Super easy to do and absolutely beautiful!! Too bad we just gave a bunch of ties to the D.I... I guess I'll have to go buy them back :) Thanks to Our Best Bites for this tute!

Easter Egg Wreath
I love this Easter Egg wreath from PBK- have for the last couple of years. I was quite giddy when Missy e-mailed me the link to this fabulous tutorial - another great Easter idea from Crafty Sisters. Loved this tutorial for a couple of reasons:
#1- I can make the PBK wreath I love for SO much cheaper than what I can buy it for
#2- Cadbury mini eggs are probably my all-time favorite candy ever. Don't know if it's the candy to chocolate ratio or just the chocolate itself is better than anything else... I just know anything that makes me think of those delectable, chocolate freckled eggs makes me smile.
Now, if you're one of those people that Cadbury Mini Eggs just aren't your thing, you should still click on over to the Crafty Sisters because they have 2 other variations of Egg Wreaths that you're sure to love!

Jelly Bean Topiary
This super cute Jelly Bean Topiary has got to be one of the most creative decorations I have seen. Crafty Sisters - how did you come up with this one? Not sure if it's the colors, the unique idea, or both, but I am in love with this and can't wait to make it with my kids!

Fabric Covered Easter Eggs
Easter is just around the corner... time to start thinking of new decor! I saw these eggs and instantly LOVED them. I think they are beautiful, plus I can make them with what I already have in my house (well, I might want to go pick up a few quarters of some really cute fabric). I stumbled upon Under the Table & Dreaming for the first time just a few days ago- so cute! She has tons of great ideas and tips; be sure to check out some of her other posts as well.
